The EB3 other worker category is more backlogged than EB3 general category. Mexico is unavailable. There is no hope for EB3 (Other) folks from Mexico. EB3 (Other) India, China, ROW hardly moves an inch in any visa bulletin. If your idea is implemented the oldest priority dates are in EB3 (others) and in Family based visas. Some families are waiting since 1990 to come to USA and reunite with their families.

Sorry if I am posting on wrong thread. I am in the process of sending my documents for EAD renewal and had few questions
Do we need to include a cover letter ?
Also I am sending the following documents.
1) copy I-485 receipt notice
2) copy of EAD (front and back)
3) two color photos
4) Filing fee check $340
5) Mailer stub received from previous EAD.
Am I missing anything else?

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis and our prayers are with you and your family.
But as suggested by IV members, please do consider a visit to india and take second opinion from the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, its one of the best cancer treament centre in the world.
US Healthcare system is for Profit, some medical facilities in US are exception, but if you see the overall Healthcare system it sucks and its all driven by insurance and big Pharmaceutical companies.
Please send me the private e-mail if you need any help in Mumbai to reach good doctor in Tata Memorial Hospital.

I AM going to face them, confront them, demand them to provide justice, if not I want them to REFUND every penny i have paid so far. If this "I AM" becomes "WE", half the battle won. Hmm, urs is a unique case, but as far as i can tell u need to have FP done, that is the process, your lawyers may be able to help, have u contacted them?
Paper filing is fine and its not slow, usually paper filers dont get FP notices.
I did contact my lawyer. They have put in a SR but that's not helping. I was hoping the EAD renewal will kick it but looks like paper based doesn't kick it..
Argh!! This waiting game seems helpless..

Many in this forum including IV admins censored COMMUNIQUE a while back. Now people know COMMUNIQUE was right, because see CIR has no future. It is a waste of time and money invest in lobbying campaigns for pro amnesty bills.
Let's start our campaign for our own bill immediately. There is no motive to wait. We should pay lobbysts and ask them to approach lawmakers using the argument that legal immigrants need a relief without waiting for amnesty bills for illegal aliens.

Average American people should realize the problem of the legal immigrants and THEY should start pressing the lawmakers for resolution. In fact there is a very simple solution - every H1/L1 visa should be covered by a GC option, providing that the immigrant has covered all requirements. And the USCIS administration should be pushed to do their job. Now, cunningly, uncle Sam (I would better say the "Edited" people) allows white collar slaves to come to the US, but hides the GC when time comes.
To be honest, I really believe that in 10-15 years time this problem will not exist anymore. Reasons? Several: First, the main donoring countries of white collar slaves are in process of sharp development and soon this source of "blood transfusion" to US will start drying up. Second, with the aging baby-boomers the need of "blood transfusion" will increase. Third, the high flow of low qualified legal/illegal Latinos changes the fabric of the American society and turns it into a Latin-American country, with all negative consequences, so the need of high tech immigrant component will increase. There are more factors but these three are enough.
So, if we are patient, in 10-15 years time the USCIS administration will start sending invitation ads all over the world, inviting legals and we would become proud holders of GCs :-)

Hello,
As my lawyer has used his checks to pay my 485/765/131 fees, there is no way of knowing whether the checks have been cashed. I did called my attorney a couple of times last week and he told me that checks are NOT yet cashed.
So I'm still waiting to hear from the lawyer abt the receipts.
And it looks like your package was handled at NSC itself, instead of getting transfered to TSC or CSC, hence the LIN#.
I will let you know once my receipts are in.
